Being a patient can be scary- and can feel dehumanizing. This can be especially true for trans and gender nonconforming patients, who often lose control of their ability to present their bodies the way they want in a healthcare setting. This class discusses the tools trans/gnc patients may use to present as their most authentic selves- and how we can safely incorporate these patients’ needs into their care routine.
